Following a very successful and well-received inaugural event, the CDN People Awards returns with a mission to celebrate the designers and creatives behind the cars
The Car Design News team is delighted to announce the CDN People Awards is now open for entries. The awards, which launched in 2022, is a celebration of the people behind the product, championing everyone from the design director to the UX team.
This year sees the addition of three new categories: a collaboration award, a design educator award and a human-centric design award.
In total, there are 16 categories and the winners will be crowned at a gala ceremony at the glamourous Londoner Hotel in London’s Leicester Square. For an overview of all the categories go here.
CDN welcomes new judges Amko Leenarts, design director of Ford Europe, Massimo Frascella, design director of Jaguar and Land Rover, Gorden Wagener, chief design officer at Mercedes-Benz and Lotus’ chief creative officer Ben Payne.
They join returning judges Martin Uhlarik head of global design at Tata, Lisa Reeves, head of interior design at Volvo and Pratap Bose, executive vice-president and chief design officer at Mahindra Group. For a full rundown of the judges go here.
