The team at Car Design News is thrilled to announced the latest digital design-centric event set to take place early next year. Car Design Dialogues North America will be streamed live on 9-10 February 2022, and discounted bookings are now being taken for super early bird registration while students and carmakers can attend for free.
“Towards a sustainable future” is the overarching theme of the two-day event, with experts set to tackle the eco issue and provide key insights into ways of reducing environmental impact both within and beyond the design process. Other topics, such as the design of efficient city transport solutions, digitalisation, premiumisation, and the craft behind user experience, are also expected to feature in discussion.
“These themes are on the lips of all the world’s leading designers,” said CDN editor James McLachlan. ”They are already having a significant bearing on vehicle design today, and will continue to play a vital role in influencing mobility of the future. That’s why we are extremely excited to bring all the top designers operating out of North America together at our event – to find out exactly how these topics are sculpting the way in which they create and innovate.”
Confirmed speakers include Ralph Gilles of Stellantis, Henrik Fisker of Fisker, David Hilton of Karma Automotive, and Pontus Fontaeus of GAC.
The North America event in February 2022 will be the fourth Car Design Dialogues event to take place, following on from the previous, highly successful events that focused on design in Asia, Europe, and global design.
