Jozef Kabaň heads up Rolls-Royce as BMW i & M head ascends
BMW has moved a couple of its design heads around in a bid to create “sustainable, leaner structures” within its design teams.
For BMW itself, that means the head of their ‘i’ and ‘M’ sub-brands, Domagoj Đukec, has now been promoted to take charge of BMW design as a whole.
Meanwhile, Jozef Kabaň, who has been the head of BMW’s core brand since 2017 after joining from Škoda, has now been moved across to take charge of BMW-owned Rolls-Royce’s brand design.
Adrian van Hooydonk, who remains in charge of BMW Group Design overall, commented: “The realignment of BMW Group Design is a signal of our future orientation. The new structure will ensure more efficiency, speed and agility in our design process. The new responsibilities will set the design direction for the individual brands and align it to future demands.”
Both men will begin their new roles on 1st April – and that’s no joke.
